It is nearly impossible to understand what's going on with the Summons and Complaint in a debt collection lawsuit without seeing the actual Summons and Complaint, but you do not want to share that information with total strangers on the Internet 

. . . Right?

I expect you can trust ChatGPT with your private litigation details (they are public records, after all)


This is what I would do if I were you:


Step 1: High-quality scans of your documents

Option one: Many courts use electronic filing systems, and the clerk's copies can be downloaded or ordered to be delivered by email as digital PDF files.

Option two: Go to a UPS Store, Staples, FedEx Office, or a similar business center and scan your documents. Ask for high-resolution PDFs of the following:

  1. The Summons (make sure to scan both sides if there is printing on the back).
  2. The Complaint.
  3. Any attached Exhibits or documents.

Save them as separate PDF files if possible, with clear file names like “Summons.pdf,” “Complaint.pdf,” and “Exhibits.pdf.”

Step 2: Send to ChatGPT

Upload your scanned documents to ChatGPT with the following prompt:
